Summer Internship Program
Geneva Trading is proud to host interns from top global colleges and universities for 10 weeks during our summer internship! Our internship program is a proven path to full-time roles with the firm. We’re proud to convert up to 50% of our interns to full-time with a 100% offer acceptance rate.
What You Can Expect
Gain invaluable, hands-on learning under the guidance of some of the world’s best traders and leaders in the trading industry. You’ll work on trading projects that are directly applicable to the challenges and opportunities at Geneva.
Take control of your career goals by enhancing your networking and readiness skills. From developing a calculated risk appetite to a collaborative spirit, Geneva Trading offers comprehensive job training led by talent development leaders.
Experience the power of networking in action. Learn how to grow and nurture connections with networking sessions presented by subject matter experts across C-suite, Corporate, Tech, and Trading teams.
Go deep into how futures trading and proprietary technology intersect to solve complex problems in our industry. Gather insights into how shared services teams support function and growth in a leading principal trading firm.
Walk the walk with forward-thinking opportunities to shadow trading teams. Attend weekly meetings with managers, mentors, and campus internship support staff to help you align your job goals with your career growth.

Confidently develop your communication and networking skills. Showcase your accomplishments and learning gained during your internship with a final presentation to stakeholders.
Application Process
We’re ready to align with visionary interns who want to advance their personal and career development. Every year, we start recruiting for our summer fintech internship on September 1st. Watch for posted internship roles in Trading, Technology, and Corporate.
Although there are some variances in the number of required interviews and their length, you can expect:
Apply online with your resume through our applicant tracking system. Cover letters are not required, but encouraged if you feel they showcase your talent, experience, and potential.
After reviewing your resume, the hiring team will make a decision about moving forward. If applicable to the role, we’ll also send a technical assessment via HackerRank.
Successful candidates who pass the assessment undergo further review from the recruiting team. Our Campus Recruiter will contact you to set up a 15-minute phone screen to get to know you better as a candidate.
Hiring managers review the phone screen evaluation, assessment score, and application materials. Approved candidates will be invited to interview with Geneva’s mid/senior level members. Trading and technology interviews may also include a live technical interview portion.
Upon the successful completion of first round interviews, candidates are invited to final interviews with a hiring manager. We’ll notify you with a decision within two weeks of your final interview.
